Scott Anderson President and CEO
Scott Anderson is President and Chief Executive Officer of K2 Capital Group. At K2 Capital, he has overall day-to-day responsibilities as well as the strategic direction of the organization.
He has more than 30 years of experience within the financial services sector with particular emphasis on collections, workout, credit administration, commercial lending and portfolio acquisition. Prior to assuming his roles as President and CEO, Anderson held the same position at a regional $700 million bank holding company in Minneapolis. Anderson formerly served as Vice Chairman and Chief Credit Officer for nine years at Arcadia Financial, which was a $5 billion, 1,500-employee enterprise before it was acquired by Associates First Capital. He has also held numerous management positions at Marquette Bank, First Bank, Brenton Banks and Farm Credit System.
Throughout his professional career, Anderson has served on many nonprofit and philanthropic boards and committees, including the Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest Board of Directors, where he served as Chairman from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, he joined the Luther Seminary Foundation's Investment Committee. He remains active in several local charities as both a volunteer and board member. Anderson holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin.
Stephen V. Alpeter Chief Operating Officer
Stephen Alpeter serves as the Chief Operating Officer of K2 Capital Group. He has more than 25 years of experience in the lease financing industry. He began his career on the West Coast with Comdisco in sales focusing on IT and diagnostic imaging equipment. He later relocated to the Midwest with Winthrop Resources, a middle-market general equipment leasing company. After leaving Winthrop, he started and operated several middle-market leasing companies in Minneapolis. Alpeter holds a bachelor's of science degree in Finance from Miami University in Ohio.
Tom Grady Vice President, Capital Markets
Tom Grady serves as Vice President, Capital Markets for K2 Capital Group, where he is responsible for developing and managing partnerships with money center, regional and community banking institutions. Prior to his current role, he has worked with companies in a variety of industries, primarily in banking and finance, asset management, higher education, medical and publishing. Before his banking career, Tom served as the Director of Marketing Services for Deutsche Bank's $400 billion Institutional Asset Management division in New York. He has served on several local and national nonprofit boards, including the Board of Directors for the ACHA and most recently as the co-chairman for the Minnesota Congenital Heart Walk. He holds a bachelor's degree in English from Saint Louis University and a master's of business administration degree in Marketing and Finance from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
